Structural Monitoring and Observation
of Structural Testing
TES performs long-term and construction-phase monitoring of building structures and components. Much of our work relates to identifying and quantifying movement of building structures and components over time to determine when and if remedial support measures are required. We use common measurement devices such as precision crack gages to monitor structural behavior. We are also currently working to develop techniques which employ electronic sensors and wireless data transmission devices to allow remote data collection.
In addition to long-term monitoring, TES performs short-term field observation and certification of structural load tests on individual structural elements and assemblies.
