Management of Structural Repair and
Maintenance Projects

On projects of sufficient size, TES can manage the structural repair and maintenance process. We assist Building Owners and Site Services Personnel with evaluating costs and feasibility of various structural repair and maintenance options; preparing, organizing, and distributing contract documents; assembling teams of qualified consultants and contractors; and representing the Owner during the construction phase of the work.

As structural maintenance and repair work is often complex, costly, and can directly affect the safety of building occupants, some Building Owners have engaged us to manage the programming, design, bidding/pricing, contractor selection, and construction phases of the work. As engineers serving in the role of project manager, we bring an understanding of and familiarity with engineering and repair concepts, which can often be helpful in improving/facilitating project communication.
